Brookside Cafe

Nice diner right off the main road in Norwood going toward Sharon. I had the veggie omelette, which was good. You can get homefries, hashbrowns, or Boston baked beans. There were specials on the board, and i also saw people getting takeout for lunch/dinner. The coffee was diner style as expected, though I think they may be able to improve the coffee with minimal effort. There were also sandwiches and things like pot roast or shepherds pie on the menu. Service was just fine. The place was full of regulars.

Solid food, good service, and a rotation of great specials to keep it interesting. Only downside is the limited parking lot, but if you're willing to walk a bit there is plenty of street parking.

A traditional no frills diner. The corned beef hash was quite good. And the omlet quesidilla was huge. The pancakes were really rubbery and there was fake Maple syrup.

This is a great place for breakfast. Good omelettes, good pancakes - haven't had a bad meal here. The service is fast and friendly and I've never had trouble getting a table, even during busy weekend mornings.

This is a great restaurant with excellent food and a friendly, efficient staff and management.

Their home-made "Mike's corned beef hash" is excellent. Top 3 in Metro West IMHO!! Supreme poached eggs, all the Benedict's are tops as well.

OMG!!!! We love it! Fantastic service and AMAZING food. I had steak tips w/eggs ... steak pefectly med-rare cooked, pancakes ... hashbrowns #theBest , house fries and more (only laking was mimosa)! Return? HELL YEAH!

Food was great

We ate here the day after St. Patrick's Day and I got the blueberry bread french toast. As you can see from the photo, it looks AMAZING. Well, it tasted just as good as it looks. I will definitely be returning here on my next Boston adventure.

We went for a Sunday brunch. The place is usually busy during this time. Nice place for a family gathering during lazy Sunday mornings. All most all the diners were with their families. It's easily noticed when going through Washington Street to Walpole from Norwood. The food is good and the portion too. The service is also good and price is reasonable. During rush hour the serve time and wait time will be high.

This is an old family favorite. I love anyplace I can get good baked beans and raisin bread for breakfast. Lots of good choices for breakfast and lunch. And it really is a the side of a brook!

Nice people. Good portions. Don't order the Eggs Benedict...not Hollandaise sauce...no lemony flavor; tastes like chicken fat, not butter. I bet just plain bacon and eggs is good.
